Calvin Bennie Collins, age 75 of Rocky Point passed peacefully at home Thursday January 25, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born September 29, 1948 in Jones County, son of the late Ferd and Ethel Holland Collins.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Hazel Marie Collins; three sons, Thurman Lee Collins and wife Felicia of Maysville, Lonnie Ray Collins and wife Brittany of Rocky Point, and Ricky Allen Collins and wife Lorie of Teachey; daughter, Lisa Marie Tracy and husband Paul of Rocky Point; seventeen grandchildren, one great grandchild; a sister, Arlene Chambers of OH; and many nieces and nephews.

Calvin was a veteran serving honorably in the United States Army. He loved his family and enjoyed sitting on his back porch and watching the deer. In his younger days Calvin enjoyed playing pool. He was a truck driver for many years and his CB handle was "Loader Man".

The family will receive friends Saturday 2:00 to 3:00PM for viewing and visitation.
