Brenda Jean Ganey age 76 of Wallace passed peacefully Tuesday October 22, 2024 at Wallace Rehab and Health Care.

She was born January 25, 1948 in New Hanover County, daughter of the late Clarence and Sarah Robinson Ganey.

Brenda loved her son Michael Stephen Congleton who predeceased her. She enjoyed riding bikes with her son and spending time with him. Brenda taught dance most of her life focusing mainly on ballroom dancing. She loved to read and enjoyed cooking which she learned from her grandmother. When Brenda was young she played baseball and ran track.

Brenda will be laid to rest with her son but no services are planned at this time.
