Bobby Claude Watson age 55 of Winnabow passed away Saturday January 23, 2016 at Huntington Health Care, Burgaw.

He was born February 24, 1960 in Sea Level son of the late Jay Hugh and Dora Corey Watson. He was also predeceased by a sister Janet Beasley.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years Robin Robertson Watson; three stepsons, Frank Lankford and wife Catie of King, Brandon Lankford of Roanoke Rapids, and Bradley Lankford of King; four grandchildren; three brothers, Terry Watson and wife Donna, Billy Watson and wife Vicky, and Steve Watson and wife Susan all of New Bern.

Bobby was a police officer for 25 years and enjoyed his work there and as a driver for Wilco Hess. He liked to fish and loved to help others.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Friday January 29, 2016 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenleaf Cemetery in New Bern.

The family will receive friends at 11:00am Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
