Bobby Ray Moore, age 76 of Rocky Point, passed peacefully Friday July 31, 2020                            at Lower Cape Fear Life Care in Wilmington.

He was born January 28, 1944 in Duplin County, son of the late Ezra and Margaret Simmons Moore. He was also predeceased by his wife, Ethel Meeks Moore, infant brother, Ezra Moore Jr., sisters Eunice Moore Griffin and Edna Moore Watkins.

He is survived by sons, Chris Moore and wife Lisa of Rocky Point and Riv Ezzell and wife Gwen of Rocky Point; grandchildren, Zachery Moore, Aaron Moore, Carly Ezzell and Josh Ezzell; brother, Joseph "Buddy" Moore of Teachey; and sister, Shelby Moore Griffin of Potters Hill; and many nieces and nephews.

Bobby was a member of the United States Army National Guard. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. Bobby was a lifelong lineman and was a foreman with Sumter Builders for many years until retirement.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday August 2, 2020 at Meeks Family Cemetery in Rocky Point.
