Bessie Gyetvai Tokoly, age 95 of St. Helena Community, Burgaw, died Thursday May 9, 2013 at home.

She was born May 25, 1917 in Pender County daughter of late John and Hermenia Zoller Gyetvai. She was also predeceased by her husband James Tokoly and daughter Isabelle Campbell.

Mrs. Tokoly was a lifelong Pender County farmer who loved needlework, gardening, and growing flowers.

She is survived by two sons James Tokoly and wife Carlene, and John Tokoly; and daughter Barbara Harts all of Burgaw; son in law Donald Campbell of Selbyville DE; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be Monday May13, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic church. Reverend father Roger Malanda will officiate. Burial will follow in the Saint Helena Cemetery.

A rosary will be recited Sunday at 6:00 PM at Harrell's Funeral Home chapel.
The family will receive friends Sunday 7-8:30 PM at the funeral home.
