Barbara A. Wilson's Obituary
Barbara Mattison Wilson age 74 of Burgaw, passed from the earthly life Saturday September 15, 2018 at The Laurels of Pender surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 1, 1943 in El Paso TX, daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Duncan Mattison. She was also predeceased by her husband Ray Ralph Wilson Jr.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Bryan Wilson and wife Kristy of Hampstead, Ronald Bruce Wilson (Becky Hanson), of Hampstead, and Ray Ralph Wilson III and wife Pattie of Rocky Point; a daughter Stacey Wright and husband Calvin of Burgaw; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three brothers and a sister.
Barbara was a wife and mother since the day she married the love of her life (Ray) over 57years ago. She loved to laugh and joke with all. Hugs were always given and expected in return. She enjoyed playing Bingo, playing lottery scratch-offs, fishing, and all animals. She loved her faithful companion Cain. Not a day didn't go by that she didn't make this known to all. He brought her comfort and a smile to no end.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 pm Sunday October 7, 2018 at Riverview Memorial Park. Reverend Duke Lineberry will officiate.
