Araetta Hall Rivenbark age 86 of Burgaw, died Tuesday April 9, 2013 at home.
She was born September 20, 1926 in New Hanover County, daughter of the late Edward and Josie Stone Hall. She was also predeceased by her daughter Loretta Faye Mathis, and grandson Bruce White.

Araetta Lived for her family and dearly loved her husband, daughter and grandchildren; she was their sunshine and treasured by them all. She was always the brightest light in the room.

She is survived by her husband Jacob Bruce Rivenbark Jr.; Grandchildren, Lee Murray, Mitzy Jonkheer, Karen Jonkheer, Shelly Cole(Kevin), Robert Jonkheer, and Melissa Mathis; Great-grandchildren, Araetta Grainger, Aidan Jonkheer, Seth Henry, Victoria Henry, Amanda Cole, Bradley Cole, Tanner Cole, Sterling Jonkheer, and Alice Lewis; and five Great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be Saturday April 13, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Dean Walker will officiate. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday 6-7:30 PM at the funeral home.
