Mr. Andrew McLain Sullivan, age 66 of Maple Hill, died Saturday January 7, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Sullivan was born April 27, 1945 in Rowan County, the son of the late Hugh Dorsey Sullivan and Frances Rhodarmer Sullivan.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Edwards Sullivan of the home, one daughter, Angela Bland and husband Denny of Verona, a son, Dr. Chris Waller and wife Dr. Mary Bradley Waller and five grandchildren Tiffani Covil, Christian Turjillo, Elisa Trujillo, Traci Turjillo, and Jack Waller.

Mr. Sullivan served honorably in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He loved to hunt and fish and was a member of the Bull Branch Hunting Club. He was well loved and never met a stranger.

There will be a memorial service for Mr. Sullivan at the Maple Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend Mickey Cox officiating. A date and time will be announced later.
