Alma Williams Worrell age 90 of Mocksville, passed from this earthly life Saturday September 1, 2018 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 30, 1928 in Brunswick County daughter of the late Henry and Mamie Gray Worrell.

She is survived by a son Glenn Worrell and wife Donna of Wilmington; daughter Bonnie Petit of Mocksville; four grandchildren, Paul Joseph Barber, Eric Charles Barber, Mary Beth Worrell and James Worrell; one great-grandchild; and loving step-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, William "Red" Worrell; son James Ray Worrell; two grandchildren, Ann Marie Barber and James H. Worrell.

Alma was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church in Mocksville. She is forever in our hearts but not forgotten.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday September 5, 2018 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Phil Eakins will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 7-8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
